Coalition on Revival
Restoring biblical inerrancy to the Church and a biblical worldview to society.
Mission
Inerrancy in the Church. Worldview in society.
The Coalition on Revival was founded by Dr. Jay Grimstead, who also birthed the International Council on Biblical Inerrancy in 1977 and its landmark 1978 Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy. COR exists to restore biblical inerrancy to the Church and a biblical worldview to society — the conviction that Scripture is without error, and that it speaks with authority to every area of life.
Bishop Boone met Dr. Grimstead in the 1980s and calls him a spiritual father — a relationship that mirrors the fathering Boone himself has offered to a generation of pastors. When Boone became president of the Coalition in 2022, it was less a change of direction than a continuation of a lineage: the inerrancy of the Word, applied without apology to the Church and the nation.

Grimstead founds COR to carry inerrancy beyond the academy: a biblical worldview applied to every sphere of society. Boone meets Grimstead in this decade and comes to regard him as a spiritual father.
