Born in Atlantic City, New Jersey
Wellington Boone is born on September 17, 1948, in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Conversion, ordination, and marriage
At 25, a dramatic encounter with Jesus Christ changes the course of his life. He is ordained the same year and marries his childhood sweetheart, Katheryn Watley, in November.

Wellington Boone Ministries incorporated
He incorporates what becomes Wellington Boone Ministries and plants his first church in Ettrick, Virginia, near Virginia State University.

New Generation Campus Ministries founded
Reaching college students leads him to found New Generation Campus Ministries, placed under Garland and Eileen Hunt. By 1995 it is active on more than 50 campuses.

Manna Christian Fellowship of Richmond planted
Manna begins meeting in the 200-year-old Monumental Church near the Virginia State Capitol, then in a renovated car dealership at Belvedere and Broad.

South Laburnum Avenue property purchased
Manna purchases a 10-acre property on South Laburnum Avenue, becoming a hub for weekly multiracial, cross-denominational prayer.

Fellowship of International Churches founded
The elders of Manna Christian Fellowship confer the title of Bishop and, in covenant with him, found the Fellowship of International Churches.

The Father's House, Norcross, Georgia
He releases Manna Richmond to Bishop Marvin Mason, moves to Atlanta, and founds The Father's House in Norcross, serving as senior pastor for twenty years.

Bishop Wellington Boone Collection dedicated
Regent University Library formally dedicates the Bishop Wellington Boone Collection — more than 40 years of manuscripts and recordings — with Pat Robertson present.

Successors commissioned
In March, he commissions his spiritual son and daughter, Bishop Garland Hunt and Pastor Eileen Hunt, as his successors at The Father's House.

President of the Coalition on Revival
He becomes president of the Coalition on Revival. On March 12, Katheryn Boone passes after 48 years of marriage.

Marries Margarette Boone
In June 2025, he marries Margarette Boone. Together they continue to minister internationally.
